It is important however to understand that the range of menu
options will differ depending on the airport of catering uplift and that from
time-to-time specific items may not be available. Jet2charters
also reserve the right to amend catering options at any time to ensure that
correct standards and quality are maintained. At all times, our on-board service adheres to strictly laid down Euorpean guidelines on food quality and presentation.
The menu suggestions below are all based on ex-UK menu
specifications and again vary based on the time of flight and length of sector.
'Buy on Board'
All passengers purchase snacks or other items from the
selection available. This includes sandwiches, confectionary, light snacks and
specialist items.
Snack Service
Primarily devised for use on shorter flights, snack options
include –
TCB Service
A simple option providing passengers with a choice of
tea/coffee and a small packet of biscuits. Particularly appropriate on very
short flights where any better standard of service would be impractical.
Deli Bag
This is a very popular option for shorter or budget conscious
flights. All passengers are provided with a ‘deli bag’ (either placed on the
seat prior to departure or handed out individually after take-off). This will
normally consist of 3-4 items including a water cuplet, a sandwich, a packet of
crisps and perhaps an item of fruit. The deli bag also allows the passenger to
take uneaten items off the flight with them if required. If time permits we can
also offer a separate tea/coffee service.
Meals
A meal service can be provided appropriate to the time of day
and both hot and cold meal options are available. Different specifications
include –
The various different menu specifications available are based
on cost and range from a standard two or three course meal served in
Jet2charters special biodegradable meal boxes to full three
course business class standard hot meals served on china crockery.
Special Dietary Requests
Vegetarian meals can be supplied in advance if pre-ordered
through your Charterer.
Other menu options, such as vegan and gluten-free meals, are
available at certain locations provided they are pre-ordered. In the case on
non-availability or non-delivery a vegetarian option will be provided instead.
Note that certain special dietary requirements cannot be
fulfilled due to the cost of the requested meal and difficulty in sourcing from
approved airline caterer suppliers.
Please note also that our catering suppliers cannot guarantee
that all meals will be nut free.
