Which flights are which?

Being a carrier primarily operating scheduled services but offering a charter product as well, it can be confusing as to whether a flight is scheduled or charter

Seats on our scheduled flights are primarily sold by Jet2.com directly to you as our customer, although often through Travel Agents as well. Details of our scheduled flying programme can be found at www.Jet2.com.

Charter seats are never sold by Jet2.com directly to you as our passenger. If you are travelling on a Jet2charter flight you will have booked a holiday or flight only via a tour operator or travel agent acting as agent of the tour operator. If you have been invited by a corporate client, or have booked a special trip for a sporting event, to visit Santa Claus in Lapland or for any other ‘one off’ reason, we are providing the aircraft on behalf of our client, who is offering the trip or package to you.

Benefits of chartering an aircraft include the flexibility to choose where you want to fly to, at what time you want to fly there and what service you wish to provide your guests on board our aircraft. This serves to make each charter flight a unique experience for your passengers.

If you are unsure whether your flight is a charter or a scheduled flight, the clue is in the flight number:

All scheduled flights have three figure flight numbers, i.e LS202 or LS809.
All charter flights have four figure flight numbers, i.e. LS2007 or LS6158.
