Jet2.com operates a single Boeing 737-300 pure freighter aircraft and eight ‘Quick Change’ Boeing 737-300 mixed passenger/cargo option aircraft.
The freighter is normally based at Exeter Airport. This aircraft is available for adhoc charters during the daytime period Monday-Friday and throughout the weekend.
The ‘Quick Change’ Boeing 737-300s usually operate as passenger aircraft by day and freighter aircraft by night. Capable of changing roles in less than one hour, these aircraft provide Jet2.com with an unparalled flexibility in its operation.
The ‘QC’ Boeing 737-300s are based at Edinburgh, Newcastle and Belfast and can be used for adhoc freight charters at any time of day or night provided they do not have previous passenger commitments.
The aircraft are capable of lifting loads of up to 16 tonnes including any unusual shaped items provided they fit through the aircraft freight door. Adhoc charters can be performed with loads being either palletised or containerised (using AAN containers). Livestock charters can also be accommodated.
